Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at werner.hager@hagerenergyandautomation.co.za. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 20 Mopani Road, Ble Bend, East London, 5241
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
You can always contact us for any return question at werner.hager@hagerenergyandautomation.co.za.

1. Introduction
This Shipping Policy governs all purchases made from [Your Company Name] (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By placing an order with us, the customer (“you” or “the purchaser”) agrees to the terms set out herein. This policy is intended to be legally binding and is drafted in accordance with commercial practices applicable within the Republic of South Africa.
2. Order Processing and Collection Lead Time
2.1. Upon confirmation of payment, the Company requires up to five (5) business days to prepare the goods for collection at our premises.
2.2. “Business days” refers to Monday to Friday, excluding South African public holidays.
2.3. You will be notified once your order is ready for collection.
3. Courier Arrangements and Responsibility
3.1. Once goods have been collected from our premises—whether by you, your appointed agent, or a third‑party courier—all responsibility for transit, delivery lead times, delays, loss, or damage transfers to the courier service.
3.2. All shipping times after collection fall outside the Company’s control, and the Company shall not be held liable for delays or failures by the courier.
3.3. You remain responsible for all courier fees unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
4. Heavy Parcels and Off‑Loading Requirements
4.1. For heavy, oversized, or palletised parcels, it is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that adequate equipment, labour, or machinery is available at the delivery location to safely unload the goods from the truck or courier vehicle.
4.2. Couriers may not provide off‑loading assistance unless specifically included as part of their contracted service.
4.3. The Company shall not be held liable for failed deliveries or additional charges arising due to insufficient off‑loading capability at the delivery site.
5. Risk and Ownership
5.1. Risk in the goods passes to you immediately upon collection from our premises.
5.2. Ownership transfers only once full payment has been received and cleared.
5.3. Any claims relating to delayed delivery, missing parcels, or damage in transit must be lodged directly with the courier.
6. Incorrect, Damaged, or Defective Items
6.1. Any incorrect, damaged, or defective items must be reported to the Company within 48 hours of collection by the courier.
6.2. The Company’s liability is limited strictly to defects proven to have existed prior to release from our premises.
6.3. The Company reserves the right to inspect and verify any claim before offering repair, replacement, or refund.
7. Failure to Collect
7.1. If goods are not collected within the five‑business‑day preparation window, the Company may, at its discretion:
-
Continue to hold the goods for a reasonable period; or
-
Cancel the order and refund the purchaser, less any applicable handling or restocking fees.
